Detail Input Devices Part 1


Mouse:
Mouse is a small and lightweight input device. It is used to control the movement of the cursor on the screen. It has to or three buttons. It is also called pointing device .


Keyboard:

Keyboard is an input device. The buttons on the keyboard are called keys. A keyboard contains over 101 keys. The keys available on the keyboard are numeric, alphabetic, function and special purpose keys.

Joystick:
A joystick consists of base and stick. The stick can be moved in any direction to move an object around the computer screen it can performs similar function to a mouse it commonly used for playing computer games.
Pointing Stick:
Pointing stick is a pressure sensitive device. It is similar to pencil eraser and exists between keys on the keyboard.
