It is a type of
crime that is committed by using computer technology. It requires special
knowledge and expert use of computer technology. Computer have been used in
different types of crimes such as theft, fraud, kidnapping and murder etc.
Computer system
themselves can be the targets of attack. A hacker may break into a computer
system to commit a crime. Some serious computer crimes are committed in the
banking and financial organization. Banks store the records in computers and a
hacker may access the computer and manipulate the records for false purpose.
The money can be illegally transferred to different accounts etc.
