Component of DBMS (Database
Management System)
The four major components of DBMS
1. Data: A collection of raw facts and figures is called data. Data is
collected from different sources.
2. Hardware: The physical parts of the computer
are called hardware.
3. Software: A set of instructions given to the
computer to solve a problem is called software.
4. Users: The people related to the database system are called users.
